During the late 1960s, actress Raquel Welch collaborated with renowned photographer Terry O’Neill on a unique and provocative photo concept. Inspired by Welch’s concerns about potential negative press surrounding her film choices, O’Neill conceived a daring image that captured Welch on the Fox lot. The photograph, depicting Welch on a cross, symbolised her fear of being “crucified” by the media.
